On the evening of June 18, 2026, in Columbus, Georgia, 23-year-old Amari Wilson was fatally shot. The Muscogee County Coroner's Office reported that Wilson succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds at a residence on McCartha Drive. Officials have characterized the shooting as a domestic incident involving Wilson and his brother.
