That night, around 10:08 p.m., gunfire echoed through the 800 block of Apex Road. When first responders arrived at the scene, they found young Kadin, a Black male, suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was rushed to a local hospital, but despite the efforts of medical staff, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 10:49 p.m. Kadin, known affectionately to his loved ones as "KB," was a student at Fox Elementary School.
