On a Tuesday evening in Columbus, Georgia, the lives of two young men were tragically cut short. Xavier Derrall Scott, a 28-year-old male, was killed by gunfire on September 19, 2017. The incident, which also resulted in the death of 23-year-old Datrell Roberson, unfolded in the 2800 block of Ninth Street. A third individual was also wounded in the shooting but survived.
