Anthony Meredith, a 24-year-old African American man from Columbus, Georgia, tragically lost his life on March 26, 2016. He was shot multiple times at the Peachtree Mall in Columbus, Georgia. The incident occurred around 8 PM in the food court area of the mall. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots, which caused panic and chaos among shoppers.
