Kenneth Holloway Jr., a 25-year-old African American male from Columbus, Georgia, tragically lost his life on June 18, 2016. The incident occurred during a confrontation outside a birthday party in the 400 block of 17th Avenue. According to witness accounts, Holloway Jr. was involved in an argument with Torrance Menefee, a friend, over a bottle of Hennessy cognac. The altercation escalated, leading Menefee to shoot Holloway Jr. once in the chest, resulting in his immediate death at the scene.
