Death by Force

On November 27, 2024, at approximately 12:35 a.m., Columbus Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 8300 block of Canaan Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds. One victim, identified as 18-year-old J’Mauri Taylor, was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Ben Saxon at 1:38 a.m.
