In the early morning hours of Wednesday, November 27, 2024, a shooting in a north Columbus neighborhood resulted in the death of 18-year-old J'Mauri Taylor. The incident occurred at approximately 12:35 a.m. in the 8300 block of Canaan Drive. When Columbus Police Officers arrived at the scene, they discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds.
