Death by Force

On August 31, 2023, 16-year-old Dayton Carlisle Willis was found deceased in his aunt's car on Double Churches Road in Columbus, Georgia. Columbus Police officers responded to the 2300 block of Double Churches Road, where they discovered Willis with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of EMS, Willis was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Dustin Harrelson at 1:36 a.m..
