In the spring of 2021, the lives of two brothers were tragically cut short in Columbus, Georgia. Eric Giddens, a 21-year-old male, and his older brother, 22-year-old Quindarrius Giddens, were both killed on March 24, 2021. The brothers were victims of gun violence, their lives ending in a fatal shooting at a Motel 6 in the city. The incident left the community in shock and mourning the loss of two young men.
