On March 31, 2024, Christopher Collins, a 29-year-old resident of Columbus, Georgia, lost his life to gun violence.
The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Columbus Police Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 2800 block of Tenth Street. Upon arrival, they found a male, later identified as Christopher Collins, lying deceased in the road. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) attempted to resuscitate him but were unsuccessful.
