Edgar Lee Harris IV, a 28-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on July 6, 2019, at the Wilson Apartments in Columbus, Georgia. The Columbus Police Department responded to reports of a shooting and found Harris deceased from a gunshot wound. The Homicide Unit immediately took over the investigation, which led to the issuance of a murder warrant for Deronte Kahlil Brown, a 24-year-old male.
