In the fading afternoon light of January 19, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of the Oakland Park neighborhood in Columbus, Georgia, leaving two men dead and a community in shock. The victims were identified as 34-year-old Theodore Alexander and 21-year-old Troyverion Williams. The male victims were discovered in the 2400 block of Wise Street, a residential area unsettlingly close to Key Elementary School.
