On the evening of October 3, 2023, at approximately 8:37 p.m., Columbus Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Rigdon Road and 10th Street in Columbus, Georgia. Upon arrival, they discovered 23-year-old Elijah Farral suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:05 p.m.
