On the late evening of Monday, May 16, 2022, the life of 27-year-old Deanthony Marke' Davis of Petersburg, Virginia, was tragically cut short. In the 600 block of Winston Churchill Drive in Hopewell, officers responded to a call of shots fired around 11:40 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered a male, later identified as Davis, lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
