DeAnthony Dee Davis, a 27-year-old resident of Petersburg, Virginia, tragically lost his life on May 16, 2022. Davis was found dead in a parking lot in Hopewell, Virginia, after being shot multiple times. The incident occurred around 11:40 p.m. in the 600 block of Winston Churchill Drive, near Carter G. Woodson Middle School. Witnesses reported hearing a verbal argument followed by several gunshots. A dark-colored sedan was seen leaving the area shortly after the shots were fired.
