Micah Coles, a 14-year-old from Hopewell, Virginia, tragically lost his life on June 24, 2022. The young boy was found dead on the railroad tracks near the intersection of Elm Street and Arlington Road in Hopewell. He was one of the victims of a double shooting that also claimed the life of 18-year-old Jasir Culver from Petersburg, Virginia. Both boys were discovered with multiple gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene by Hopewell Fire and EMS.
