In the early hours of January 18, 2023, the life of 33-year-old Robert Lewis Bryant Jr., a male resident of Hopewell, Virginia, was tragically cut short in a hail of gunfire. The incident, which also claimed the life of 35-year-old Jessica Lynn Collins, unfolded around 2:00 a.m. in the vicinity of Arlington Park on Courthouse Road.
The events of that morning have been described by law enforcement as a 'rolling gun battle' between at least two vehicles. The car occupied by Bryant and Collins ultimately crashed into a staircase at the park.
