In the winter of 2018, the life of 24-year-old Danzell Lamont Gholson was cut short in Hopewell, Virginia. On the afternoon of Tuesday, January 23, 2018, Gholson was fatally wounded in a shooting. A male, he was a father to three young girls and was remembered by loved ones as a caring and devoted parent who cherished spending time with his children.
