Dan’Quariahz Redd, a 19-year-old Black man, left Hopewell on the night of October 12, 2025, and ended up on Brandywine Drive in Prince George County—an ordinary neighborhood turned suddenly frantic by the crack of gunfire. Just before 11 p.m., police rushed to the 4000 block after calls reporting shots fired, and they found him wounded.
