Richard Miles Hawthorne Jr., aged 41, tragically lost his life on April 26, 2013, in Hopewell, Virginia. Born on November 7, 1971, Richard was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church and a graduate of Fluvanna High School. His death marked the first homicide in Hopewell for the year 2013.
