In the warm evening of July 4, 2021, a day meant for celebration, tragedy struck in Hopewell, Virginia, claiming the life of 18-year-old Joshua Israel Psalms Arrington. A recent graduate of Hopewell High School, the young Black / African American man was looking forward to a bright future, with plans to attend Chowan University. He was known affectionately as 'Hammer Head' to his family and friends and was remembered for his love of recording music with his friends in his spare time.
