In the afternoon chill of December 23, 2019, tragedy struck in a North Philadelphia neighborhood, forever altering the lives of those who knew and loved 16-year-old Amir Nafis Rahiem Lassiter. A Black male with a promising future, he was found lying on the front porch of a residence on the 3100 block of North 24th Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
