Marcus Parker, a 32-year-old resident of Petersburg, Virginia, tragically lost his life on the evening of September 10, 2020. The incident occurred in Hopewell, Virginia, where police responded to a shooting at a residence in the 1300 block of Edward Bland Court around 9:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Parker inside the home with life-threatening injuries. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
