Melike Herbert Benjamin, a 49-year-old resident of Hopewell, Virginia, tragically lost his life on July 7, 2021. According to reports, Benjamin was shot and killed near the gas pumps at the Quick Express Store on South 15th Avenue in Hopewell. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m., and emergency medical professionals who arrived at the scene were unable to save him.
