On a tragic afternoon in Hopewell, Virginia, the life of 39-year-old Julian Emmanuel Sharpe was abruptly cut short. On August 20, 2020, at approximately 2:30 P.M., officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 1300 block of Central Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. Sharpe, who had sustained gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Another victim, Elisa Scott, also 39, was found with life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to them at a nearby hospital.
