On the evening of March 8, 2025, 25-year-old African American male, Tijuan Lamar Phillips, was critically injured in a shooting incident in Hopewell, Virginia. At approximately 11:00 P.M., authorities were alerted that a male subject had arrived at Tri-Cities Hospital suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
