On a quiet Christmas Eve in 2018, the peaceful Ashbury Lane in Virginia Beach was disrupted by a tragedy that left neighbors in shock. Inside a home, police discovered the body of 75-year-old No Nguyen. Her husband, 77-year-old Hieu Nguyen, was also found with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
The Virginia Beach police responded to the incident at approximately 5:35 p.m.
and, after their investigation, classified the event as a murder-suicide. It was determined that Hieu Nguyen was the perpetrator in the death of his wife before succumbing to his own injuries. Authorities did not release a specific motive for the tragic actions.
