On January 17, 2025, Romeish Gosford Morgan, a 36-year-old Black male welder from West Palm Beach, Florida, was fatally shot at his workplace, Coastal Metal, located near Royal Palm Beach. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. inside the warehouse, where Morgan was working alongside his assistant, 21-year-old Kolby Daniel Edwards.
