Robert S. Gooch IV, a 34-year-old Army Reserve officer and father of three, tragically lost his life on January 8, 2019, in Chesterfield, Virginia. Gooch was shot outside a Wawa gas station on Otterdale Station Way, just two blocks from his home. He had survived multiple deployments to Afghanistan and was on the verge of retiring from the Army.
