Death by Force

Jamal Stowers, a 33-year-old resident of Vicksburg, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on September 17, 2021, as a result of a domestic dispute. On that fateful evening, Vicksburg Police officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Sprout Springs Road at approximately 7:44 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Stowers lying near the street with a gunshot wound to his torso. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
