Dante G. Southerland, a 27-year-old resident of Virginia Beach, tragically lost his life on June 18, 2021, following a shooting incident in Norfolk, Virginia. The incident occurred at approximately 3:10 p.m. at the Tinee Giant convenience store located on East Princess Anne Road. Upon arrival, Norfolk police officers found Southerland suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
