In the late hours of a Monday night in Norfolk, Virginia, the life of 29-year-old Daniel A. Burnett was tragically cut short. Just before midnight on March 31, 2025, police responded to a call of a gunshot victim at a 7-Eleven located at 151 West Little Creek Road. Upon their arrival around 11:40 p.m., officers discovered Burnett suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
