Death by Force

Michael Shane Nelson, aged 41, was found dead on August 3, 2019, in a home located on New Hope Church Road in Stafford County, Virginia. The Stafford County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call reporting an unknown situation at the residence. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Nelson and an unidentified woman in an upstairs bedroom, both with apparent gunshot wounds to the head. Nelson was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
