On September 1, 2023, at approximately 8:29 p.m., Fairfax County Police responded to a reported shooting in the 8700 block of Sacramento Drive in Woodlawn, Virginia. Upon arrival, officers discovered 25-year-old Joshua Fieldings suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
