In the late summer evening of September 1, 2023, the life of 25-year-old Joshua Fieldings came to a tragic end in a parking lot in the Woodlawn area of Alexandria, Virginia. Fieldings, a man who was experiencing homelessness, had formed a connection with the family of 17-year-old Kareem Valentine.
