John Pope, a 57-year-old resident of Alexandria, Virginia, was tragically shot to death on September 30, 2020, at his home in the Mayflower Square apartment complex on Quantrell Avenue. The incident occurred in the West End of Alexandria, and Pope was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Despite being transported to a local hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
