Matthew Farberov, a 28-year-old Fairfax County Police Department recruit, tragically died on February 19, 2022, in Alexandria, VA. The incident, which also involved the death of his wife, is being investigated as a possible double suicide. On the evening of February 19, Farberov called the police, reporting that he had found his wife with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
