On the evening of October 19, 2024, tragedy struck in Alexandria, Virginia, when 23-year-old Carl Harris, a Black male, was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 7:51 p.m. in the 800 block of Manor Road. Officers from the Alexandria Police Department responded to reports of gunfire and a man down.
