Death by Force

On February 18, 2013, Taft Sellers, a 30-year-old former Marine, was shot and killed by police officers in Alexandria, Virginia. The incident occurred in the 3400 block of Duke Street, where Sellers was visiting his grandmother. The situation escalated after Sellers got into an argument with his sister, who subsequently called the police, informing them that Sellers had a gun but had not threatened to use it.
