Probation and Parole Agent Gerald Wayne Moberly, aged 44, was shot and killed on October 23, 1990, in Mansfield, Louisiana. He was serving with the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections - Louisiana Probation and Parole at the time of his death. Agent Moberly and an officer from the Mansfield Police Department were attempting to serve an arrest warrant on a parolee. The incident occurred at the parolee's home on Laura Street.
