In the evening hours of November 3, 2023, the life of 26-year-old Black male, Frank Edwards Jr., was tragically cut short in his hometown of Mansfield, Louisiana. Deputies from the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a residence on Mary Street following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered an unresponsive Frank Edwards Jr. and immediately began rendering aid in an attempt to save his life.
