Death by Force

On February 17, 2023, in Alexandria, Virginia, 21-year-old Nabel Christopher Chávez was fatally shot in the head by his friend, 19-year-old Junior Josue Espinal Calix. The incident occurred inside a residence on East Reed Avenue, where the two were reportedly socializing. Calix, believing the firearm was unloaded, pointed it at Chávez and pulled the trigger, resulting in Chávez's immediate death.
