In the winter of 2023, a young man's life was cut short in a burst of violence that shattered the afternoon calm of a Franconia neighborhood. Bryant Anthony Gillis, a 23-year-old male from Woodbridge, found himself in the 5300 block of Harbor Court Drive on Tuesday, December 12th, when the sound of a gunshot rang out. Witnesses reported seeing someone with a gun fleeing the area near a black Dodge Charger shortly after the shot was fired.
