On the evening of June 30, 2023, at approximately 8:58 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting in the 1700 block of East 32nd Street. Upon arrival, they found 30-year-old Davonte Keyon “Mook” Rouse suffering from multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds to his chest. Emergency medical services transported Rouse to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
