On June 14, 2024, at approximately 9:42 a.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 4300 block of West Bay Avenue in the Southern District following reports of an unresponsive individual. Upon arrival, they discovered 39-year-old Dennis Edmonds deceased in the backseat of his Dodge Charger, his body wrapped in a carpet. The Medical Examiner's Office later determined that Edmonds had died from a gunshot wound to the head, ruling his death a homicide.
