In the late summer of 2019, the life of 19-year-old Darian Carter, a male resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically cut short. On the evening of September 3rd, he was found deceased, the victim of a fatal shooting. The state medical examiner would later rule his death a homicide.
The discovery was made under distressing circumstances in an apartment located in the 3400 block of Aurora Lane in the Lochearn area.
It was Darian's own mother who, after not hearing from him, went to the residence to check on his well-being. Upon her arrival, she found the apartment unlocked and entered to find a grim scene. Both Darian and a 23-year-old woman, Angel Price, were lying on the floor, having succumbed to their injuries. Visible near their bodies were shell casings, a stark testament to the violence that had transpired.
Adding to the heartbreak of the scene, two young children, a toddler and an infant, were discovered in the apartment, physically unharmed but crying. Despite the presence of surveillance cameras in the apartment complex, details regarding a potential motive for the killings have not been publicly disclosed by law enforcement.
In the years that have passed since the deaths of Darian Carter and Angel Price, the investigation into their murders has remained open.
