Charles Alan Huckeba, a 26-year-old patrolman with the Baltimore County Police Department, tragically lost his life on July 6, 1977. Officer Huckeba was responding to a domestic disturbance call at 2430 Brunswick Road in Lansdowne, Baltimore County. The incident involved a dispute between a father and his son. As Officer Huckeba was speaking with the father, the son emerged from the home armed with a rifle. The suspect, who was reportedly under the influence of PCP, opened fire on the officers.
