On March 7, 2023, in Succasunna, New Jersey, 15-year-old Anthony Thomas Ventricelli was tragically killed in a murder-suicide incident. Authorities believe that his father, 57-year-old Peter Ventricelli, fatally shot Anthony and his mother, 58-year-old Kellie Ventricelli, before taking his own life. The bodies were discovered by Roxbury police officers during a welfare check at the family's residence on Justine Place, prompted by concerns from a friend who had been unable to reach them.
