Jacob Coates, a 37-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically shot and killed on July 29, 2020. The incident occurred in the 3800 block of Potee Street following a dispute. When officers arrived at the scene, they received information that the suspect(s) might still be inside a nearby apartment. Coates was found at approximately 9:33 p.m., and the cause of death was confirmed to be a shooting.
