On a summer evening in Baltimore, Maryland, the life of a 39-year-old Black / African American man, Lamont Randall, was tragically cut short. On July 7, 2015, just after 10:30 p.m., in the 900 block of West Fayette Street, gunfire erupted, shattering the night's calm. The location was near the University of Maryland-Baltimore campus in West Baltimore.
