On the evening of April 7, 2025, Darryl Roberts, a 38-year-old African American male from Washington, D.C., was fatally shot in the Groveton area of Fairfax County, Virginia. At approximately 8:27 p.m., Fairfax County Police responded to reports of an unconscious man in the parking lot of the Haven Huntley Meadows apartments, located in the 7200 block of Jon Paul Drive.
