Yusuf Ali, 53, male, was shot to death in Memphis, Tennessee, on August 25, 2013. Friends and customers described him as a longtime convenience store owner; loved ones rushed to his Summer Avenue store that Sunday morning after word spread that he had been killed. A memorial notes he had come to the United States in the mid-1990s and spent years building a small business and life in Memphis.
