Corrion Allen, a 20-year-old Black man, was riding with two other men on Austin Peay Highway in Memphis when the calm of the night shattered without warning. The three were seated inside their car when another vehicle pulled alongside them, and gunfire erupted from inside the passing car. In an instant, all three men were struck multiple times, turning their vehicle into a desperate race for survival.
